Stag Party FAQs

Quick answers to the questions stag organisers ask most often.

Can we eat at the café, and can you do pre-orders for stags?

Yes — you can eat in our Clubhouse Café, and we can arrange pre-ordered food options for group bookings on request.

How long do we need on site?

Most stag groups choose two activities, which creates a half-day or full day depending on travel and breaks. We’ll recommend timings based on your activities and group size.

Can some of the group come along and not take part?

Yes — spectators are welcome. There are great walks along the River Spey nearby and places to relax while others take part.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We run in most conditions and adapt sessions to keep things safe and fun. If conditions make an activity unsafe, we’ll discuss options to adjust the plan or rearrange.

Is there a bar for after activities?

Yes — we have a fully licensed Clubhouse, ideal for a post-activity pint and a proper stag debrief together.

Can you help with accommodation?

Yes — you can stay in our Bunkhouse, or we can point you in the right direction locally on request.

How do bookings, deposits and final numbers work?

Once your programme is agreed, we secure the booking with a deposit based on your best estimate of numbers. Final numbers are confirmed nearer the date so planning stays flexible and fair.

What should we bring?

We’ll confirm kit per activity. Bring comfortable outdoor clothes, warm layers and waterproofs, plus a change of clothes for wet sessions.

"Fantastic Stag Do!"

I had my Stag Do at Cairngorms Activities and it didn’t disappoint, what a brilliant place! We did laser tag and mini highland games. The laser tag was definitely the highlight, loads of fun and gets everyone involved! Would 100% recommend Cairngorms Activities and would definitely go back!

"Great for a large Stag Do!"

We were a large group for a Stag Do, about 15 guys and we all had a blast. There was plenty of space for everyone and we were secluded enough to make as much noise as we liked without being too far away from civilization. The facilities were great (Glenbeg Bunkhouse); simple, clean, nice fire pit, BBQ, good cooking facilities and loads of fridge space. The activities were great too, everyone really enjoyed the laser clay pigeon shooting and the fishing area is nice with a bar available. The staff were also all great, really laid back and good fun. I would definitely recommend using Cairngorms Activities to anyone.

"Great Stag Weekend!"

Visited Cairngorms Activities for my sons Stag weekend fun. Archery and laser clays were our choice along with some tasty food in between the activities. As it has been on previous visits fun, safe and good value for money. Thoroughly recommend these guys.
